Great question. In StarLogo Nova 2.0 you click on the "edit camera" button then use your mouse or track pad to zoom in and out. For me, on a mac with trackpad, I have a two finger drag mapped to zoom. On a PC, it might be a right click and drag. Try it and let us know what works for you.
Once the camera is setup the way you like, don't forget to click the "Lock Camera" button to lock it in place.
If you are using a mouse with a scroll wheel, once you are in the Edit Camera mode you can scroll to zoom the screen. On my trackpad, I can zoom with two fingers (moving them apart or closer together).
