A Teachers with GUTS cohort 1 teacher suggests that when teaching mono-lingual Spanish speaking students, it is only necessary to translate the definitions of term and blocks, not the term or block name itself. The name should be kept in English because that is how the student will encounter it in the curriculum and in the modeling and simulation environment.
I thought I had was to either add the random block from the math section into the movement section. It is used a lot for the left and right movement degrees.
Or in the movement drawer add a left random degrees block along with the left degree block
I wanted to get your feedback on this document. I wanted to be proactive in explicitly laying out expectations for behavior. Is it too much? Too highbrow? Will it cause any bad feelings?

Good morning from Washington state,
Hi everybody! My name is Sandy and I teach 6th grade Science and Technology at the amazing charter school, George Washington Academy. I LOVE moving my students forward with Science and giving them experiences to show what they know using technology. I am currently using the GUTS curriculum and my students are about to work on the epidemic model. I'm looking forward to learning more and using this format more often with my students.
